Our Story
Offshoot Player Development was built to give young athletes a clear path to improvement. We believe great players are developed through quality instruction, consistent effort, and purposeful repetition.
Our approach is rooted in teaching the game the right way. Every session is designed to help players understand the “why” behind each skill, build confidence, and develop habits that translate to real game situations.
We meet every athlete at their current level, whether they are new to basketball or working toward a roster spot. From there, we provide the structure, accountability, and coaching needed to help them take the next step.
Fundamentals are at the center of everything we do. Ball handling, footwork, shooting mechanics, decision-making, and game awareness create the foundation players need for long-term success. As that foundation grows, we introduce more advanced skills and competitive challenges.
At Offshoot Player Development, every rep has a purpose. Our goal is to develop confident, disciplined, and skilled players who are prepared to compete and continue growing both on and off the court.

What we build on
Footwork, ball-handling, and shot mechanics before anything flashy. Strong basics build long careers.
We push players to show up, put in the work, and hold themselves to a standard on and off the court.
Every player develops on a different timeline. We coach the person in front of us, not a generic script.
Skill work matters, but so does competing. Our AAU team gives that work somewhere real to show up.
